SUDAN WILDLIFE JOURNAL (SWJ)


To Authors

Sudan wildlife journal (SWJ) is a peer- reviewed scientific online journal which publishes papers categories of reports, review papers and original research articles from all areas related to natural resources and environmental sciences. The main publication areas: Wildlife management, Wildlife conservation, Ecology, Wildlife biology, Wildlife habitat, Fisheries, Forestry and Environment.

All submitted articles should report original previously unpublished research results; articles submitted to the journal must not be under consideration for publication elsewhere, manuscripts should follow the style of the journal and are subject to both review and editing and must be written in English.

Articles must be submitted as e- mail attached in Microsoft word. Contact with author should be by e- mail.

Article title

 Should be specific, clear and descriptive and comprehensive. Names of authors should be followed by affiliation address and email.  

Abstract

The abstract should give a summary of the paper, should concisely inform the reader of the manuscript’s topic, its materials and methods and its findings.

Keywords

Immediately after the abstract, provide a maximum of 5, but at least 4, keywords , to assist in indexing the paper and identifying qualified reviewers.

Introduction

Should be precise and describe the importance of the work, the problem,  state the objectives of the work and provide an adequate background, avoiding a detailed literature survey or a summary of the results.

Results

Should include tables, figures, graphs, etc. each should have number and title.

Discussion

This should explore the significance of the results of the work.  A combined Results and discussion section is often appropriate. Avoid extensive citations and discussion of published literature.

Conclusions

The main conclusions of the study may be presented in a short conclusions section, which may stand alone or form a subsection of a Discussion or Results and discussion section.

References

References should be arranged in alphabetical order, starting with family names and the initials. Then come the year of publication, the title and the number of the volume of the journal and the pages.
