          MNP= Marine National Park

          NP = National Park

          NCA= National Conservation Area

          GM = Game Reserve

Of all the proposed areas, only Wadi Hawar and Jebel Hasania have been declared parks. With regard of boundaries of all parks in Sudan, few out posts and or occasional patrolling, marks and some passable car tracks can be found. Most of the protected areas exist on papers only. Wildlife Administration had done very little to enforce laws in the conservation areas and all of them have experienced serious deterioration in numbers of wildlife and their habitat. All the protected areas in Sudan are managed without properly set Management Plan although Dinder and Radom national parks have been recognized by the United Nations as Biosphere Reserves since 1979 andd1982 respectively.
